There is a game thats been time expired for a long time. game began on may 1 2008 and its still going and keeping us from moving on to round 2!

What I tried once, was to PM the one who had obviously won two games. He agreed, since one of the games was mate in a few moves and in the other he was a rook up with a good position. Some players tend to think their lost game will go away if they ignore it, seemingly.  If they are matched with a polite opponent, tournament rounds can take ages...
QA auto-claims any time-expired game after 30 days, by the way. As far as I am concerned, that could be reduced to 15 or 20 days.
