I tried to create a new game, but got the message:
"The maximum number of open games has been reached. Please wait until some of the games start."
.. okay, such a limit makes sense, but when I see that only ONE player has created 80% of all open games, that's not okay. Please set up a limit for a single player, also! Let's say max. 12 games per player.

Yes I got to agree with you on that one.
I tried to create a game today but it said it's full.
Someone who takes like 3 quarters of the open games is just too much and unfair on other players who want to make games there.
I like that idea.

i think that the limit of open games that you should be able to create would be 4 at any one time.

I second that motion. Us Open Game browsers have a right to choose too!
One thing though. A lot of people seem to like a rating limit on their open games; often at a higher rating than they themselves are at. With all due respect, but couldn't there be two options in this case? If there is a rating-limited and a truly open challenge forum, I'd tend to choose the latter. But others might prefer to play against players within a certain level of parity. Like, if someone advertises sixteen games at a minimum rating above my own, I rather not hear about it. But with the amount of members we have, there ought to be competitors willing. So what about dividing the open games into 'limited' and 'open to all'? At the least , it would potentially double our options!
