Hi all
I wonder if it's possible if someone times out then it automatically gives you the win or draw on time.
Or possibly in the options you can choose to automatically time out for you or you claiming it.

Well, as there's no way to do such a thing in OTB games, I doubt Miguel would implement it. But he's the only one to say. :)

What I mean is someone runs out of time it claims the game automatically.
I am going to be on vacation soon and I don't want to miss any games to timeout or claim. In other words a player moves after he runs out of time and I would miss my chance of claiming the game.

Well, you could note when certain of your opponents will run out of time and take a short visit to QA from your holiday address (unless you're going on a wilderness trek, perhaps). It is perfectly possible to play a move or claim a game during your vacation time - many players do.
There is an autoclaim built into the system, which claims the game after somebody is thirty days too late. Personally, I wouldn't mind if that feature would activate after only fifteen days, especially if the game is part of a tournament!

hmm
There is an internet cafe where I'm going so it sounds like I could be on here while I'm on vacation. Only if I have the time to do it.

As they say, there are more important things in life than chess. Like ...uh, like... ... ...um... (I'll get back to you when I think of something).
