tHE ENGINE I am referring to is my own head I mentioned overhaul because some of my braincells were damaged after I suffered a stroke almost 3 yeatrs ago. In my bio I said playing chess is my therapy so why should I use engines. I can't even afford it. Hope this will clarify matters.

Razoman: tHE ENGINE I am referring to is my own head...
Sorry for the assumption. Hey if you play a really good game on Yahoo! and they ask you "what computer are you using?" You can say "the one in my head". (they will ask even if you arent as people are quite suspicious on unmoderated chess sites such as Yahoo!. Here, the ICC, and playchess.com have zero tolerence on engines).

The Yahoo question is more of a compliment to me if I'm being asked?

Re: Razoman's comments about overhauling his engine.
Philidor: If you check back a couple of pages, you'll see there were comments about Montalbano, with someone suggesting he was using a computer. Many made remarks about that, and that's what Razoman was referring to; he was being ironic, not saying he would actually use a computer.

This is something very natural, in South Asian countries. Even in India, we are not able to afford the top commercial engines like Fritz, Shredder, Junior etc. The price is just too high. FYI: 1 US$= 46 Indian Nation Rupees. Therefore, 30 dollars should sum upto 1380 Rs., which is quite a worthy amount in India.
