Maybe this is the kind of venue where a GM or IM can play and try riskier moves than in tournament and can do so here without worrying about their reputation. Or maybe they don't want 50 of us bothering them since they're famous. That doesn't make them childish. In fact, pressing them to reveal themselves seems to be more childish on your part. You don't know anyone's motive for playing here but your own.
Additionally, how do we know JimMorrison is telling the truth? I honestly believe he is, but do any of you know for sure. Sorry Jim, I'm just using you as an example, it could have been anyone. The truth is, he could claim to be anyone and unless you know him personally, there's no way you'll ever verify the truth.
If you want people's names, either ask them for it or play in OTB tournaments. If you want to play correspondence chess over the internet, get used to the idea that you don't know who you are playing. And stop making generalized statements that people who don't feel the same way you do are somehow childish. That sort of thing is like to anger some people. --p

I think kjbesquire is well on his way to become an ideally strong (if not the strongest) player here on QA. He has not yet lost a game out of 36 played games (at the time of my writing ). And most of his opponents are quite highly rated ones.
Here's the link to his profile: http://queenalice.com/player.php?id=2393

Well boys,(and girls!)To talk more about what this talk stands for: The best player? Name of interesting player kjibesquire has taken place with good score. How about the italian:Montalbano? 49 wins in 49 games! on really short time.. I dont know the record here on Alice in number of strait wins..? Somone knows that? perhaps Nightsend has the record? Myself won my first 52 oout of 52 games and likely will at least Montalbano overtake that, even for I will likely stop his wins with at least 1 draw in ouer lively battle of 2 games..(when ever that will end!

Gambitshark, I would still look forward to meeting you in a game, ready when you are.
Kind Regards

You did it again: discussing an ongoing game. First you discussed my ongoing games, now you are predicting the outcome of your game against Montalbano. This is unacceptable, rude and against the Rules of Chess. Stop it.
