LOL. Somebody else has been on Google searching for "Pierre Bergman chess"...
Check this out (scroll to reply #8): http://www.chesspub.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1204204660
He is famous!
Right, I noticed the stats... I'm thinking he has evolved as a professional chess player, just massively hacked out his opening variations and now wins a ton...

Creepy, didn't realise the forums were full of stalkers

Oh, c'mon its not like we posted his home address, a google map image of his flat and his underwear size!
PS Don't ask me how I got the last one, I'm not talking about it.

That page was noted before (the first one). It doesn't tell much. I looked in more detail and noticed that the average winning opponent rating was 2220. The average losing opponent was only 1778. Bergman did respond to moves unusually quick (1.8 hour/move).
It's hard to make any judgments without looking at the games more carefully. Also, there are many more players on that site (a million plus registered).

It would be interesting to see what B's record has been since starting his bum of the month tour (i.e. the mass challenges open only to lower ranked players). These games obviously skew his won/loss record. Maybe one of you stalkers can dig this up for us ... .
