I found out you can't challenge yourself to a game.

thats because it's not fair play, you allways know what your opponents plan is, unles you are really drunk :)

But imagine you could, what would happen to your rating?

it would stay the same?

There is an essay called "Madness plays chess" where a guy sets up the game and goes crazy trying to decide which side to play (Black or White)
I think I have it amongst my curiosities but in Spanish

I tried playing against myself before. I found that no matter how 'fair' I tried to be, I always favored one side.
