I like My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Silverstein, The Reason, and classics like Nirvana, Bush, Stonetemple Pilots, the Counting Crows, Virticle Horizon, Live, and Shawn Colvin (anyone remember Sunny Came Home? Please say you do!), Blind Melon, and The Proclaimers.

As for listening while playing chess the Sex Pistols "God Save the Queen" is an excellent song, as is Avril Levignes "Sk8ter Boi" Don't really know why but it's an awsome, energising song :D
