Hum... Ok... Then I suggest something else:
After one player (A) has the time expired (lets say a game of 7 day/move, after 7 days, or a game of 60 days/total, after his 60 days), then the opponent's (B) clock start ticking.
If B do not claim the game in his time (7 days, or 60 days, whatever), then both players has the time expired and the game should be cancelled.
It is not an auto-claim, but it limit the answer and can save time.
Of course, in this case B can have more then 30 days to claim, if he is playing a 60 days/total game...
About being tournment or friendly game, I dont support the idea of different configurations for these games... It should be all the same rule. With one single rule, people already fulfill this forum with questions...
