Oh... is it Beco? There is a specific rules of chess about disturbing opponent? It seems like there is more chess rules that I don't know (I only know how to move chess pieces)
I'm sorry for saying that "talking is also one of chess strategy"
I guess, my rating will never reach 1600 before I understand all the rules

Hi PGeon,
You will be amazed if you go to FIDE site and look at the rules...
The section about moving pieces on the board (the real chess) is just a small section near all the others.
Cheers, Beco.

Pgeon:
"saying something is also one of chess strategy"
No intentionally disturbing the opponent and trying to annoy him goes against the spirit of how the game should be played:
"You should not sing, nor whistle, nor look at your watch, nor take up a book to read, nor make a tapping with your feet on the floor, or with your fingers on the table, nor do any thing that may disturb his attention. For all these things displease ; and they do not show your skill in playing, but your craftiness or rudeness."

In OTB tournaments, if you verbally communicate with your opponent in a way not permitted by the FIDE Laws of Chess, your opponent may call in an arbiter, who may impose penalties against you.
The FIDE Laws of Chess only allow you to verbally communicate with your opponent under certain circumstances, such as to offer a draw, resign, or indicate you are adjusting a piece.
