I don't see why there should be an option to take back moves.

What you don't see - someone else can see...

Surely that's the point though - he made a mistake - it happens - it may cost him a piece or the match ... that's life I'm afriad!
If you put the time in, silly mistakes should be eradicated form correspondence chess alhtough I make them all the time simply by moving too quickly!
But we're all different. Some people know the right move immediately - it's called talent. SOMe of us have to spend hours contemplating e4 sometimes!

after all he is my friend! ....
life should not be blamed of being cruel as the beautiful realations of LOVE , COOPREATION and SACRIFICE exits through that.
To me in private games the option shoud be there, as the weak players similar to me and even strong players at beginning of their Psychology training, shoulf have noticed that sometime right at the moment of making a move or right after the move they moticed that it is horrrible.WE may call it a silly one but i think if he can tell this is wrong right after making it we should have option atleast in friendly games to give him a chance.

If this option is implemented, it should only be allowed in unrated games, with the consent of the opponent. The main reason for this feature is to facilitate training games.
