... great! idea for Moe, I think this help us to see who player has been win tournaments and store more congratulations about competitions...
I tkink that a cup image would be fine to post on winner profile and increase his ELO in agreement with tournament's level won.

While we're making suggestions, some kind of differentiation between different levels of tournament would be nice -- maybe different coloured medals or a separated classification, such as
Tournament wins: 3 (1 advanced, 2 master)

Absolutely not. Ratings are not a `reward' but a measure of performance in terms of number of games won, drawn and lost against opponents of different strengths. Winning a tournament will increase your rating anyway because of the won games.
The rating system here has enough inflationary tendencies as it is without injecting yet more points into the pool.

I just want to compile and stress some of the ideal already left on this topic: -Show in the stats the number of tournaments won and why not also the number of messages left in the Forum -Put a little simbol (a cup or medal would do the job) beside the player´s name for each tournament he or she would have won

Vinchent78: Placing a little symbol beside the player's name for EACH tournament they won is not a good idea, because, if one wins, say, 10 tournaments, the symbols would create clutter and increase page loading times. (I assume you mean next to the player's name in forum posts, player lists, and game pages - it's OK to have symbols on profiles.)
I agree that the award should not be an increased ELO rating, for reasons outlined by Richerby: it would further rating inflation, they would already have gained rating points by winning games and the rating system is a measure of performance in terms of wins, draws and losses.
Keep it simple, stu...oops!
