Jnable, I am am afraid youre not very well informed. I dont know who is the player with the most ongoing games at one moment, but its for sure not matman. As far as I know Chris Davisson and another Cambridge boy (cant remember his name) had over 650 games at a certain moment. CampbellMarcel over 800, and Ike Broflovski even once over 900 games.
I dont say, these are the maximums, but it are the figures when I played these players.

It would take me a very long time to reach a 1000 games. Unless I lost them all! I am distinctly off form at present!

This may be true, but so far I've managed to wiggle in some of my off games, so not feeling too bad. Trallala has a 1000 games, I think.
