Well said Gil. The energy and special the oil is more important for George Bush and co. They get a good excuse to attack an oilproduced country. Dominate and disrupt is theirs sentens. Without energyresources falls whole community of consumption.

Pershemia, I think the people of Iraq who no longer see 95% of all oil profits going to Hussein and his family, and who now have freedom they could only dream of before, might disagree with your assessment of Bush's purposes. The USA has spent billions there, while gaining little but the disdain of liberals at home and people abroad who just don't like us.

The freedom can only the own people create, not foreign troops and an administration appoint of an occupying power. Bush and is administration is a sham for your people - hope you kick him of with next election. Use the money to get ride of your own problems - and this are a lot. Do you like invaders of your country - if they dont like your politic against many people there? I dont think so.

Iraq had a dictator who controlled the military and tortured and murdered his own people when they disagreed with him, and you want to leave them without help in getting rid of him? I don't like YOUR politics. France helped the colonies here throw off England and be independent, for which we're grateful. We've now helped the Iraq people. Bush and his administration are not perfect, but they've done a good job, particularly with regard to Iraq. The "invaders" of our country on September 11, 2001 came to kill innocent civilians, not free us from a dictator. We have free elections, which Iraq now has, too. BTW, we do not elect leaders for life, but only allow the president to serve for 2 terms (8 years), so he cannot be elected again. Forgive my bluntness, but your ignorance of the USA is as great as my ignorance is of Sweden. The difference is that I am not demontrating my ignorance in criticizing your country.
