Wife is after me to buy a snow blower. Michigan is considered midwest, too, you know...

They are great, but we depend on the neighbor to come down in his tractor. My husband can do the small areas with a snow shovel. Yes, Tewald, Michigan might even get more snow than North Dakota, but not as much wind perhaps?

I don't know...I think ND probably gets more snow. No tractors here; just under a mile from Detroit. Always used a snow shovel, but heart isn't what it used to be...

Tewald: Mine never was very good, but you should have seen my Norwegian hubby out shoveling snow and chopping wood yesterday. He is 89 years old! I guess I just inherited my mom's genes. She was a Dane....and many in her family had heart problems. Visibility here is half a block this morning. Everything cancelled. I have the Christmas candles lit to help with heat. It is minus 7 fahrenheit.
