Whatever ... as people much younger than me say here in England.
Glad you are ok!
(For the snow glare!)

Onceupon, no, it doesn't make sense, because I goofed. Oops. 32 is 4/9 of 72, not 40, which is what I meant to type.

OK. It was sunny this morning but the temperature was -18F. What is that in celsius? I am always telling my Norwegian chess buddy about our temperature because their weather is similar to North Dakota's, but he has as hard time figuring it out in celsius. By the way, we have alot of folks here whose grandparents came from Norway.

Audrey, take your Farenheit temperature, subtract 32 from it, and then multiply it by 5/9; that gives you the Celsius equivalent. So if it's -18, you subtract 32, which makes it -50. Then take 5/9 of that, which makes it -27.8 C.

Tom: I wrote it down. Thanks so much for taking the time. Audrey p.s. Sunshine and a balmy -13 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. Ah-h-h...-25 Celsius, right? The two neighbor farmers with the tractor plows checked us out and found someone had already shoveled out our driveway. It took 3 phone calls to find out that our renter had driven over and had done it by hand. He has done this before. He lives in another county...about 6 miles away from us on a dirt road. That is what is so nice about living in a rural area...people look out for each other...especially when you are a senior.
