There are reasons to have 2 usernames that dont include an intent to cheat. For example one might play black exclusively with one username and white with the other. that would tell the user his rating with both colors. It is potentially useful to know your rating with each color.
Another reason might be to seperate your games according to time control. With one username play exclusively game 10 day/all the other 7d/ per move. If you never play yourself and you never enter both names in the same event it should be ok.

I have two accounts. Never confronted each other. Because of my lack of memory I inscribed myself in the same tournament... That was such a stupidity, that I will recover the order by drawing, if I ever get to confront myself. I have two different accounts just because I want to play more tournament games, not only 50, this isn't enough for me.
I will never use illegal ways of earning rating. This is cheating. I won't use programs also, this is also cheating.
As I said, I just want to play more tournaments cause people get more interested when are fighting for something, even such a title.
Please if I could remove myself from a tournament I would do it, I rekcon it was unfair, but let's clarify I did a mistake, as I am confessing. Never want to be a cheater.

If you and your other username both advance and end up in the same section on of you should resign all your games without making a move.
You can avoid repeating your mistake by having one of yout usernames never play in in an odd numberes tournament and one of your usernames never play in an even tournament. This assumes you have only two usernames. If you have 3 one only plays in tournaments divisable by 3, one only plays in tournaments were the number of the tournament +1 is divisable by 3 etc.
Some joker should have a set of usernames that start with multiple_personality_Disorder_1 and multiple_personality_two. I knew an other the board player who seemed to have 2 different personalities. One played at a USCF level of 1700_ the otherplayed a USCF level of 1100. the 1700 personality was gentle and quiet when not playing the 1100 was obnoxious.

Each of us should have a no play list. If someone on our noplay list has registered for an tournament we would not be able to register without first removing him from our no play list. If we are registered for a tournament and someone on our noplay list registers we would automatically be withdrawn and enteresd in the next. That would allow players to avoid playing in the same tournament as a player they think cheats. Autimatically entered in the next event would be a important feature to those who are hampered by the 50 game rule. I often wait for my my number of in progress games to fall below 50, register for 2 tournaments, and start many game/10day private games. If I was not automatically registered in the next event I would have to wait for the tournaments to start to begin many privvate games. Another advantage of this no play list is it would help with players who select and delete games I post in open games. I could prevent someone from doing that twice.
