I think there should be chess teams so people get to know each other well! Friends can be in the same team, fun, teams challenging other teams to team matches captains choose their players kind of stuff, thats what there should be!!

Yes, why not create chess teams here preferably composed by six players (4 regulars and 2 alternates) and with this size of community, we can create lots of teams and do a team tournament using the swiss system format, its kinda cool I think.... ;-)

I like the idea of teams, and everybody may have the chance to create one and be a captain of it. The numbers in every team, may be a question of the captain. Some people play many games in different sites, probebly have other things to do too, and can´t play every time. A team need many members.

i like the idea of small teams...maybe like chessman2004 suggests,, %-)

Other sites have the problem of loads and loads of inactive teams, some with only one or two members, other teams with 40 or 50 members and still others with only six or seven members. Also, board order seems to be very random at most sites.

a team should only be created by a member who has
played a significant number of games..so the team
captain has shown an interest in the site...the teams should be in two categories...those with 5
or less and those with 5 or more..each category can only play in their own category ( this allows for tiny teams to start playing as they build into 5 or more )...the teams should play on a ladder system...a team logo on the page would be nice..to keep it simple..just a match with the overall points won moving the team up and down the ladder at the end of all the team games for that match.
