The limit of a private tournament is 20 players, correct.
As you can read in my first statement of this page: "There shall be 16 teams"
Why 16 makes 8 winners, then 4, then final, "Thus, only 4 rounds to play"
But I also said: "Can be a little more or a little less"
Less 16, say 14 wouldn,t make any difference, still 4 rounds.
With 18 or 20, also no problem, just one more round to play.
To reach 16 teams, I didn,t ask only 16 country, as I already expected, not everybody is interrested.
And I,m right, as you can see Russia and Iceland are not interrested at all. From Russia only Antonius like to play, and from Iceland only our champ. Gambitshark give me an answer, all others just ignored it.
I sended messages to players from all countries with at least 5 active players with ratings up 1500., to give all of them a change to compete.
Well, I got more, 22 teams.
I need to devide them in 2 groups, that would be 2 groups of 11. To make 2 groups of 12, I added a second team from Brasil and Spain (the countries with the most potential on QA.)
And that will be the final Line-up.
(Unless 4 from the 6 countries who are stil trying to get 3 players together befofe deadline; 4 because it would make it 28 teams = 2 X 14)
FINALLY
INSTEAD OF 3 PLAYERS TO OPEN A PRIVATE TOURNAMENT WITH 20 PLAYERS;
I NEED 6 PLAYERS TO OPEN A PRIVATE TOURNAMENT WITH 12 PLAYERS;
I was brainstorming with Miguel quite along time, and we both think, this is the best solution.
After this 5 rounds are finished, the 4 best of both groups go to the next round. 8 teams, 3 rounds to play. The diffece now is 2 more rounds to play.
For Miguel to make an exception (in fact 3) cost to much time and far to expensive, which I do understand.

When deadline has passed, 12a.m. Greenwich time, I count the ratings, make the Groups and open two new pages under "Match Discussions"
And thanks Gil, but you can,t, unless you replace one of the Top 3 players from Brasil.
