It is very easy, to talk afterwards! I think, there are a lot of non-sense comments made here. If there is a problem in this world, everybody has a big mouth. If the U.S.A. does something against it, they have a big mouth again. Because for cowards its easier to critize afterwards, than protest before. (Example Vietnam) If you want to make me sick, youve gotta tell "Hussein used WMD on his own people is not exact, that were only the Curds" Yes, Yes, Hitler did not start the Hoolocaust against his own people, just the jewish, just the gypsys, just the homosexuals etc. who were unfortnally in Germany, like the Curd were unfortnally in Iraq.
But.... If someone.....or some nation do something about this....they are a bunch of ashholes.....
But only when thew job is done! You guys make me sick!

"...Because for cowards its easier to critize afterwards, than protest before. (Example Vietnam)..."
We had something of a protest movement here in the U.S. against the Vietnam War.

In fact..it was a direct result of protesting against the Vietnam war that forced the U.S. to withdraw. Please don't try to comvince me Tewald that all these protesters in the United States were communist sympathizers. These protesters were your average God fearing citizens that thought the U.S. had no cause to be in that war. If The U.S. had gone into Iraq at the time the Curds were gassed if would have been much more palatable to the world. This is not about the Curds.

Moondawg: I just mentioned Hussein's gassing of the Curds to illustrate his power. I did not say that we went to Iraq because of that gassing. The people of Iraq could not overthrow him without outside help. We provided that help.
The protesters against the Vietnam War were a very vocal minority. The Viet Cong were driven to the Treaty of Paris by defeat. The South (with help from the USA) won that war, and drove the Cong out of the south. It was not until the north went back on their word and re-invaded the south, and those in congress refused to stand by our word in that treaty that the North won, since we did not come again to the aid of the south as we had promised to do.

Tom....I don't disagree with you concerning the gassing of the Curds. I simply stated that it would have been a much more excepted time to go into Iraq then than it was at the time they did invade. In regards to the Vietnam war, I do think that a "small vocal minority" was a little under estimated...the support for the president at the time was at a all time low...quite similar to the low rating the present leader has. Anyways, it is healthy to debate and i welcome your input. Hope you and yours have a safe and peaceful Christmas....in a nutshell...that is what we all want.
