Teward, your statement "Hussein used WMDs on his own people" is not exact. He used WMD against the Curds, who Saddan didn't consider as Iraqis. Of course this is the result of the artificial frontiers created by the colonial powers, who didn't give the Curds the Curdistan they deserved. But Saddan's attitude was not much different from that of the US against the native americans, including the use of biological weapons. Ok, you may say it was long ago, but who said that Iraq is in fact in the 21th century? Each country develops in its own pace, that's why I believe external intervention is almost always culturally harmful.

Far from perfect I agree. Theft of two terms, 9/11, New Orleans, wrecking ball to the U.S. economy, surplus to record deficits, millions of lost jobs, lied the country into war, created unprecedented level of hatred for Americans, implementation of a Stasi-like police state. If Bush does a better job, we're all dead. He's a disgrace to our country.
