OK, but do we want that similarity with football played politically, as opposed to honourably, to hold on this site?

I completely agree with the time aspect of the games, the players did choose to play the game, and should accept the controls set. I'm not complaining, but just making a statement that there are those that play, just to delay the outcome. As above stated, some honor is lost.

I think that chess is a game, nothing beyond this. And, if you play according the rules, any tactics to win the game is completely legal.
Some tactics (like to play just in the last second) are really annoying, I agree. But, it's legal and the time control is a right for everyone.

Some of us -- most of us, I hope -- came to this site looking for some friendly competition, not "war." Perhaps we are in the wrong place.
