We can settle for arroz valenciana and paella.  Yes Togoy. lechon is roasted pig but not necessarily a small one Specifically we call the small one as lechon de leche.

You are correct Manuel (Togoychess). Lechon is a small pig (baboy) but we are not stressing the o and you are correct again that we are roasting it with the bamboo and there is a sauce on the lechon called "Sarsa". It's not the only small pig that we make lechon but also a LECHON BAKA. The baka is a small COW. But I still like the lechon baboy than the lechon baka.

Some of our dialect came fron Spanish Language and our food recipes came from Spanish food. The same thing with the dance the latin dance that's why I like to dance the ballroom/latin dance.

manuel... its true. some of the filipino dialect came from Spanish origins. In fact, a generation earlier, schools used to offer spanish classes as part of the college subjects so don't be surprised if you hear some spanish words being mentioned by the pinoys

Funny things..... The spanish name for sauce is "salsa" like your "sarsa"
The Spanish name for female cow is vaca, like your baka but we don't use lechon for cow. A spanih name for a small female cow is "ternera" o "ternera de leche". A Spanish name for a small male cow is "choto".
Well, if you win I would need to trasnlate many recipes so a better idea is that the Spanish team win, at the end of the day. Manuel
