Let's not forget that for a long time England ruled the world. It's not surprising that our tongue is now so widespread

I think the english tongue is "widespread" because it is so easy and simple to learn.
England is no more a "great nation ruling an empire were the sun is always shining".
The language that is spoken by the greatest number of people on earth is chinese.
And on the american continent, spanish is more spoken than english.
Anyway...why don't we come back to the original topic : "women and chess" ?
Gil : why do you consider this subject as "sensible and hard" ?

I, truly, think that women can be worse than men and men can be worse than women. There are different variates of ranks and men and women are in all of them.

English is one of the more complex languages. It's the most difficult European language to learn to read.
