We seem to be straying a bit off the topic here. So to all of you new readers: this thread was originally about removing the limit on, or at least expanding, the amount of space for in-game chats. Perhaps also adding some extra space for personal notes in the process. See the thread above.

Any thoughts Miguel? Even taking into account the needless and off-topic posts on this thread the idea has generated more interest and support than most other feature requests....

Which you began
Seriously, though, you shouldn't cling to this belief that the amount of support has everything to do with a great idea. Many requests have died long before this one and with greater support.
But like I said, if Miguel wants to consider the possibility of removing limitations on both the notes and chat boxes then I'm all in favour.

My god here i was all this time thinking you were just unpleasant and disruptive for the sake of it, but now an even more horrifying possibility presents itself: perhaps you don't even realise you are doing it!
you shouldn't cling to this belief that the amount of support has everything to do with a great idea.
The amount of support has everything to do with how popular the idea is, and therefore whether it best serves this site and its members.
Many requests have died long before this one...
That's stating the obvious - of course Miguel can't implement every request he gets, and nobody expects him to.
...and with greater support.
No threads in the Feature Request forum have had even half as many posts as this one in more than a year (and that's only as far back as i looked). Admittedly a large percentage of posts in this thread have been you moaning and me reacting, but that still leaves this idea way ahead - in terms of interest and popularity - of anything else that's been suggested in a long time.
That you continued to post argumentative comments even after you had a complete change of heart and decided you were "all in favour" of this suggestion is both hilarious and disturbing in ways i suspect you may never comprehend.
I'll even add a little smile
