Tewald: We need some real conservatives...not a McCain...to stand up and take control of our party. Someone on another site calls the Republican party right now :Democrat Lite. And yes, Obama is so far left in his voting record that he qualifies as a Socialist. He did practically quote Karl Marx as his goal. BTW, someone called Marx a tyrant or dictator on this forum. Marx was not a leader, only the one who inspired future leaders like Lenin and Stalin.

Audrey:
What many didn't realize, since they depended on the biased main stream media for their information, was the silliness of seeing Obama as a unifier. If you want someone to unify the country, you need someone near the middle, not someone far-left like Obama, or even someone far-right as you and I would probably like. McCain is center-right, where the country itself is, so he would have been a much better choice as a unifier. However, the country elected Obama. In a sense, I'm glad it wasn't very close; it would then be easy to be bitter about all the extra votes cast by Mickey Mouse and many dead people, as the Democrats ensured would happen. I don't think even their fraud was enough to explain away Obama's win.

My, this is geting heavy-handed! Why not just wait and see what happens in these next four years? Obama is not against gun ownership, wants a victory in Afghanistan, if not in Iraq. Two of his cabinet members are Republicans. So what's the gripe here?

Our prayers will be with him as he sets out to lead our country. It is a daunting task, and we hope he receives...and listens to...wise counsel.

Should happen. At least Barack seems to have IQ on his side!
