Well, I like reminders... I like the old traditions!

One problem we've all see with Queen Alice is that she goes down now and then (I'm tempted to make a comment about "that time of the month", but will refrain). Some of us are so addicted that we keep trying over and over. For those with, perhaps, a lesser Internet access, this may not be an alternative. Certainly reminders are not required. I am glad, however that they are available. Again: It is just a courtesy.

the icons are there for a purpose and that is to use them when necessary so we should not take against anyone using them. no offense should be taken from it.

Good point be0wulf
@alib2004: no offence is ever taken, but imagine my situation:
When I start a game, I take some responsibility. That means I won't start a game I can't finish. Also, if I ever notice that I won't be able to finish a game already started, I *will* surrender. Now, every time it's my turn to move, I get an e-mail. The last thing I need is yet another e-mail about the same game. And I'm away from my PC nearly every weekend, so that usually means 2-3 (and sometimes even 4) days when I'm absolutely not able to play at all. So it's monday evening, I open another tab in Firefox, open GMail, oops, what is THAT?? 20 e-mails?? And I only play 10 games? Why do I need 20 e-mails??
On the other hand, if you don't receive your e-mail notification, if you start a game that you don't really care about, you really would need a reminder sooner or later.
In the end, it's all just a matter of personal preference Peace!
