for u BuzzKiller....

Violent countries run by madmen are not balanced! You are trying to twist facts here.

Whether the country is violent or not, is decided by whom , of course by us.If a country is not violent u can call it violent and it appears to be violent to everyone , as u have the power.Similar example is of Iraq,we say a couple years ago that they have a WMDs,we decided to attack them as we only want to have them, the whole world say no but for the best interest of our future we continued. After killing thousands of people , causing unrecoverable damage to their cultural heraitage, we said sorry their were no suchs things here, but we have found a new mission here,SAVING IRAQ FROM IRAQIS.

If a man has a gun at his side, you ask why he has it, he states it is for protection. If you place his life in jeopardy he will kill you with it. If you leave him alone every thing will be fine.

U got it very right, placing his life in trouble is the real reason of his urge to kill u.

Iran wants to kill with their nuclear weapon because they hate.

Iran hate us, i dont know but do u love Iran?
whats the difference?

For u Beco...

I respect ur views as they r to be of every human having a little care about the future of humanity.

Regarding ur three points, I dont think that Bombs r the only necessary thing required for peace. Just stop doing injustice to others and there will be no hate among u. :-)

imagine that a war erupts and all hell broke loose up to the extent of using nukes? i can only imagine the end of the world.

In a world of conflict, how can you stop it? i don't know. is there a solution, maybe? can it be done, maybe not?

I can only hope for the best.

Wel, well, well....
To Beco : I think you are perfectly right in theory (regarding the 3 points), but...let us not forget the main problem, please : WE HAVE NO CHOICE ! Unfortunetely, the thing is, some countries have the bomb, and some do not have. I think that the idea that no country have the bomb is idealistic and rejoys the spirit of every mentally healthy men and women on earth, but it cant be done.

So why not face it : some countries, who think they are better than the others, said one day "we, and only us, have the right to have the bomb, and we, and only us, have the right to decide if another country will one day be authorized to have the bomb"...India and China were the first countries to say "we don't care if you authorize us, we will have the bomb, and that is all"...at that time, I remember a lot of countries have been very frightened. But...neither India nor China ever used the bomb against another country.

Now, Iran and North Korea have the bomb, OK, nobody can do anything against it, it is a fact.

The problem is, Iran and North Korea are ruled by dangerous people, but....I must say that China is also ruled by dangerous people...

As you say, a weapon is not dangerous when not used...It is the main mission of "reasonnable" people to discuss with the persons owning the weapons in order to avoid the use of the weapons. I think that saying to a person owning a dangerous weapon "YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO OWN THIS! ONLY ME CAN OWN IT BECAUSE I AM MORE INTELLIGENT, OR REASONABLE, THAN YOU ARE" is not the best way to obtain a good result...unfortunately, this is how USA and most of the European Countries act... :-/

To Sakhan : I agree with you that the USA did not react the right way in Irak, but....when it comes to decide which country is the most violent on Earth, let us say that Iran and Irak have been very violent in the past 20 years...

You never solve any problem by responding violently to violence, do you ?

The fact is that the President of Iran has recently said very violent things against both Israël, the Jewish Community, and, generally speaking, the Western Civilization.

As a woman, I do not appreciate at all the way women are considered and treated in Iran (in Afghanistan and Pakistan too, but this is another problem, though related to the Iran problem).

I do think, as the Unesco declared once, that you can evaluate the degree of freedom and education of a country by the way this country treats the women...I think that before spending precious money and time on having the bomb, the people who are ruling Iran would rather think of having a higher standard of living, better alimentation, better development, better health, better education. Don't you agree with me ?

The more people are educated, the less they think about beating their neighbours, right ?

Iran did not need to have the bomb. Nor Israël. Nor any country on Earth.

As for chess...I remember some Imams in Iran saying via a "Fatwah" that chess was forbidden for "good muslims", because, as music, it was an activity that deturns from God... :-O

Last year, the Iran government has punished the chessplayers of The Iran Team during the Olympic Chess Games, saying they had had a "non-moral behaviour", taking them back to Iran, and I must say that....nobody ever heard of them since... :^-(

Well...well...well...

Do you really think that a country having such ideas is not dangerous ? not violent ?
